Partnering Options

At ServiceFirst Mortgage we are passionate about serving the needs of the real estate community and have developed three partnering arrangements. Each arrangement is tailored to meet the local market, volume, and goals of the partners. We have had over 15 years of experience putting together long and profitable partnerships with our real estate friends. Ask your ServiceFirst Mortgage loan officer or Branch Manager for more details on conducting performance and see if it makes since to partner with ServiceFirst Mortgage.


1. Rental/Lease Agreement

This type of arrangement is designed to have a loan officer headquarter in the real estate office. The primary purpose is to offer a one-stop shop for potential homeowners. The benefits are quick qualifications and an information resource for the real estate agent. Both clients and agents love the convenience and ease of communication in this arrangement.


2. Marketing Services Agreement

We understand that homebuyers typically look for a home and then pursue financing. ServiceFirst Mortgage has put together an exciting program that allows for real estate firms to market ServiceFirst Mortgage and our products to these potential homeowners. This allows for brand exposure for ServiceFirst and edification for the homebuyer. An agreement is drafted between ServiceFirst Mortgage and the real estate brokerage firm defining all marketing services that will be performed by personnel of the real estate brokerage and the cost of these services. The marketing agreement is for a fixed duration and meets all RESPA requirements.


3. Joint Venture

A joint venture is the most comprehensive partnership that involves initiating a legal partnership registered with the State of Texas and a capital investment from all partners. The newly created entity is a company operating under the dba of ServiceFirst Mortgage and maintaining its own books and employing management, loan officers, and staff. The Department maintains a recovery fund to make payments of certain actual out of pocket damages sustained by borrowers caused by acts of licensed residential mortgage loan originators. A written application for reimbursement from the recovery fund must be filed with and investigated by the department prior to the payment of a claim.
